About

Susanna Mollah is a just another millennial trying to find her feet in this chaotic world. Her interests are broad and varied, and can be summed up (maybe?!) by the following:

  1. Sewing, charity shopping and textile sustainability as a means of disrupting negative, harmful fast fashion cycles
  2. Embroidery as a tool for improving mental health and reclaiming traditional crafts in an age where digital technologies are prolific
  3. Reading
  4. Running - as a tool for improving mental health, and as an analogous, transferrable framework for setting goals in other areas of life
  5. Cycling
  6. London, gentrification and the connections between social class, work and social mobility
  7. Nail art and hair styling as a valuable, legitimate means of creative self-expression
  8. Politics/social justice
  9. Intersectional feminism
  10. Garage, grime and the connection to inequalities relating to class and race (and the intersection between music and London/social mobility vs. inequality)
  11. Tinder and how digital dating technologies in general are shaping the way we view romance/relationships/hook-ups/whatever in the 21st century
  12. Fashion theory
  13. Mental health - coping with stress, anxiety, depression, dealing with imposter syndrome/self-sabotage, with the goal of developing a strong, robust toolkit for coping whilst fostering a sense of resilience for the future
